Well, I've decided it's about high time I put an introduction to this blog.
Here's what it's all about. I make & sell digital designs that can be printed on yards of cotton fabric. Some of them are just plain designs, some of them can be customized with names or initials. You know those books you can get with your kid's name printed in them? It's a bit like that only I just sell and customize the design and the purchaser gets the fabric printed up at Spoonflower or another similar service.
While my sketchbook may be filling up I haven't put out any new designs recently. This is a crying shame, I tells ya! But, I think it's a natural part of the creation process to go through highs and lows in productivity. The best way to get over an artists block is to just push on through by continuing to draw, draw, draw. The trouble with drawing small patterns, however, is that William Morris once said that people who make calico's go crazy. I'd better be very, very careful!
