The Other Player Website Live!

So in my totally awesome day job I create artwork for iphone apps. We're a small company, I do 99% of all the artwork, and we haven't released any games yet - BUT our website went live today with some neat wallpapers!

In honor of Alice & Wonderland we made some Alice in Wonderland themed art of our own, using the cast of characters for some of our upcoming games. So check it out and download some wallpapers! :)

Featured in Vogue Magazine! :)

A while ago I helped Emma-Louise over at the fabulous KittyCat Boutique turn her sketches into graphics that could be printed as strips onto Spoonflower fabric.

Well!  It looks like Emma-Louise and her fabulous safety cat-collar designs that I helped with have been featured in the March issue of VOGUE MAGAZINE!

I am so excited for her, and pleased that I was part of the process :)))

The Original "How Much Fabric" Reference Cards

Well it's been a looong time since I posted, shame on me! But, it's been a busy summer since I had guests from Sweden & England visiting me, and I even finally got a day job creating artwork for iphone games applications. So, I've been neglecting my blog.

But I finally have something worthwhile to blog about!

I had the pleasure of working with a great & prolific blogger, Gwen from After The Dress on several really fun projects so far this year. One was a rock climbing gear fabric commission, then a prize give-away - and most recently, I created the art on her fabulous Most Thorough Fabric Estimation Reference Cards!

So let's say you like to sew clothes and you're out and about and you see the perfect fabric for a skirt you want to make - but you don't have the pattern with you. How much fabric do you buy? Well, the charts and images on these cards help you estimate! Pretty clever, huh?
